Ontario issues more than 1,800 invitations in first draws of the year

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) held six draws on February 2, 2026, issuing a total of 1,825 invitations to apply (ITAs) for provincial nomination.

The draws targeted candidates in the Human Capital Priorities Stream, the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream, and the Employer Job Offer streams. Ontario continues to actively recruit internationally trained workers in high-demand sectors including healthcare, technology, and skilled trades.

• Human Capital Priorities (Masters Graduate): 425 ITAs
• Human Capital Priorities (PhD Graduate): 200 ITAs
• French-Speaking Skilled Worker: 300 ITAs
• Employer Job Offer — International Student: 500 ITAs
• Other Employer Job Offer streams: 400 ITAs
